Well athiesm is a set of common beliefs and practices held by a group of people. Technically that makes it a religion.
Its not a belief its a lack of belief. Are you going to put all the people who dont believe in zeus into a group.. what about santa, what about the tooth fairy?

"Religion” is not a synonym for “Belief in God”, theism is. Buddhist’s have a religion and they don’t believe in God, therefore they are in two seperare categories, therefore, Atheism is not a religion.

That really depends how you carry yourself as a buddhist. You can be buddhist and any different religion, since they believe its all a path to the same higher entity. Since buddhism believes in a higher being, it is therefore theistic.

No we’re not Gplex, if you believe in ONE God, you are a Monotheist, if you believe in MORE THAN ONE you are a Polytheist and if you believe in NONE you are an Atheist.

a bunch of people who do not believe in a god.. youare part of those people.. only diffrence between me and you I disbelieve in 1 less god. Ive seen snakes gone through someone nose and out of their mouth.. why would I think somehting like this is the work of satan.

Because these thousands of gods, why does your god deserve to be concided over any other? There is no scientific evidence for any of these gods ( saying bs like 'the world is just to complex' is just stupid and basicly saying I dont understand and Im scared so I wont look into it ) Thus instead of taking up one of the newer gods (christian god, alla, jewish god, etc etc) It would make more sense to take on the first, zeus, or some of the egyption gods... but I cant bring myself to believe in any...
