Well if your like me you probably haven’t bought a Mario Party game since the 4th one on the Gamecube or even since the N64 era. Mario Party games have just lost their luster and innovation, although the sales of MP8 on Wii tend to disagree with that lack of thought.
But I’ve always thought the way to get this series back on track would be to give it a nice online mode. And I’d definetly buy it if MP9 had online. Would you?
I have only enjoyed one Mario Party game and that was the first one. Mario Party 2 was lame, and the 3rd was alright. The rest after that were terrible, of course I’ve yet to play MP8 with the wiimote.
I mean I know a lot of people have just lost love for Mario Party but ideally its an awesome series. All it needs is a kick, and I think online is that kick. I mean it’s was the ultimate party game, and now that ultimate party game needs to be brought online. I think it would make it definetly worht a buy.

It actually has some fun games on it. It’s not the best but it isn’t terrible.

Well maybe when price drops I’ll pick it up, but it’s been selling so well could be awhile before price drops haha. I mean MP8 is actually the best selling Mario Party title to date.
yes. i played it and almost beat it. but i played a good 30 games of it. it only had about 6 levels and 12 characters. the minigames wernt fun because it just seemed like something they threw together cuz they ran out of ideas. like shake the can, well acctually that one was just perverted.
If you’ve played WarioWare then you have played at least a couple of games that are similar to some of the ones in MP8, But the board game part and games are way better than smooth moves.
