yes. i played it and almost beat it. but i played a good 30 games of it. it only had about 6 levels and 12 characters. the minigames wernt fun because it just seemed like something they threw together cuz they ran out of ideas. like shake the can, well acctually that one was just perverted.
agreed, but look how early in the life of the wii it came out... it was just another minigame conglomeration, but alot of the games were well thought out, like the hovervraft race or the boat race. The game is based almost entirely on chance but I like that, especially the board that’s like monopoly where you buy the buildings. Now that was a fun board.

Wow....they still make these games? ha ha jk
But really...Mario party got old after the 3rd one....
Well to tell ya the truth there has yet to be one Mario Party title that hasn’t sold over 1 million copies.
Really? lol.... didnt know that...
Well Nintendo just needs to get out of the
“Lets milk as much out of this game as we can” phase....
Nintendo has been highly un-original since the N64 days.
Well actually Wind Waker, Lugi’s Mansion, and Super Mario Sunshine were huge jumps away from what we had originaly seen in those franchises, but hypocritically of course people bashed them becuase of that in then have the nerve to say they are simply doing the same thing over and over again.
Not to mention the most innovative game for the GC last year was Pikmin.
I always hate when people say Nintendo simply milk their franchises. They do use Mario as a marketing tool but they aren’t milking his franchise. To milk it they would need to be milking his in the line games and really they have yet to do that.
But I always find it so hypocritical that in the GC era Nintendo went new ways with their top franchises and people bashed them for being different but have the nerve to complain about them not being original.

You just can’t please some people. I hope they make Pikmin for the wii, now that would be fun!

I unno, I just get tired of seeing the same characters in every game lol. I still like nintendo’s games mor than mosts but they really need to move on...
But think how much MP9 would sell if it had online. It wouldn’t only get that hardcore base back but still retain the casual one. Talk about huge hit eh.

Well if you’re like me, you’ll play Mario Party once and never play it again (lol).
Well that’s pretty much what I did. Cause Mario Party 1 was awesome. I bought 2 because of brandname. 3 I skipped. 4 I bought cause I thought it would be cool on the Cube. And haven’t bought one since. But if MP9 had online I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
