Is there a way to get hosted videos (Other than youtube) on moviecodec? If there is, what would I use? ([img], [youtube]...)

As far as I know the BBcodes are only specifically designed to google video and youtube video hosting services. Thus, if you want to post a video hosted from elsewhere you should just be able to use the URL code to directly link to it.

He may be able to make/find a universal BBcode for all videos that are hosted outside of youtube and google. Though I don’t know for sure. =/
If you want I can move this to feedback and see if he knows if something like it can be done.

it would be possible to link to any video
like
[flashmovie]http://www.movie.com/movie.swf[/flashmovie]
or
[flashmovie]http://www.movie.com/movie.flv[/flashmovie]
[quicktime]http://www.movie.com/movie.mov[/quicktime]
[windows]http;//www.movie.com/movie.wmv[/windows]
and just make a tag for every single extension but you know sub group them like .wmv, and wav would go under windows, mpg and mov would go in quicktime, ect.

We can’t help, and you’re asking for a very advanced feature when so many other, more important things need to be done. =/

Nerevar, we actually use BBcode not HTML. If people could use HTML some members could mess up the site a lot more than they already do shocked
