Someone impersonating to be a moderator asks another user that they need his/her password, then proceeds to spam the site with it.
It can happen with new users.

If they’ve been here for a long enough time, but someone can still pull it on new people.
It may be rare, but people shouldn’t be impersonating moderators in the first place.

thats why i would ask multiple people if he was a legit mod first. but ya i see where your going, and if they get that far with it is against the rules isnt it?

If it’s traced back to that specific person yes...but the other is still out of an account and likely won’t return...
If anything I would rather have seriously impersonating a mod be completely against the rules. (joking around with new users in an obvious fashion is one thing of course)
