Halo 2 and San Andreas

HALO 2

Halo 2 is a good game, no doubt about it, I prefer it over the original and there are more story elements that are actually pulled off (Halo 1 hardly had a story, so how Halo 2 has been critised for the story is beyond me). The game is too short and needs more variety concerning the levels and enemies, I also think being able to give commands to soldiers (like half-life) would be an improvement.

Overall, good game with an average story pulled off well.

People have been disappointed with the game because they have been expecting a game that only a next generation console can deliver.

GRAND THEFT AUTO- SAN ANDREAS

Bungie has been critised recently for supposedly cashing in on a poor Halo 2 and Rockstar has been praised for creating another wonderful grandtheft auto.

The people who have done this are blind, delusional, myopic fools.

I loved Grand Theft Auto 3, I thought that along with Final Fantasy X it was one of the very few next generation games (from the next generation consoles) and I still do, I hated Vice City, it didn’t have the story or the atmosphere of 3 and the same goes for San Andreas.

The good thing about GTA3 was that there was fantastic freedom and things to do, when you got bored with that you’d do the missions, Rockstar churned out similar missions in Vice City and has done it again in San Andreas and concentrated more on churning out crappy unimportant mini games.

It has all become very boring and extremely tedious and I’m sure experienced GTA gamers agree. Rockstar has tried to get as much money out of the franchise and its obvious that they’re saving GTA4 for Playstation 3, I just hope that they’ve some good ideas because for GTA4 to be a next generation game they’re going to have to redifine the game.

SHAME ON YOU ROCKSTAR, SHAME ON YOU.
