samus adapt to any environment and can survive the effects of phazon which would kill master chief in about two seconds wereas samus can survive without energy tank for about 10 seconds. so no doubt samus would win.she also has lock on.

This is the truth and the truth only. It is unpredictable who would win. WE have no idea who has the advantage and who doesnt. Master cheif can win and samus can win. Rockets and experiments and advanced training doesnt mean shit. You should know that from movies the weakest usually beats the strongest with sumthing like the enviroment or whatever. point is we dont know who wud win and never will we just have to picture the battle out and tell everyone what u think wud happen. no positive way so stop arguing about who WUD win cos we just dont know 50-50 people

lets think here. if i had a gamecube controler and i wer playing metroid prime and i ran into masterchief
all i would have to do is lock and and jump everywhere. now if i was masterchief and i ran into samus, my only hope would be shoot her with alot of
rockets. but with her all over the place it would be hard.
so my friends think how it would be if you had the controller and were playing the game.

You guys are all idiots. Samus you kill master cheif. haven’t any of you guys played metriod 2. Master cheif can shoot one missle and then he has to reload samus can shoot up to 5 missles at a time and they are all locked on to master cheif as for short range she has a flame thrower. and for hand to hand one power bomb would kill master cheif instantly.

I can’t believe you guys haven’t mentioned Samus’s Screw attack. To our Fanboy friends who don’t already know, Samus’s Screw attack (yes, that’s what it’s called!) allows her to transform into a mobile ball of deadly energy. When she uses this propulsion she becomes virtually invincible. Nothing in Master Chief’s arsonal,that I can think of, can stop her while she’s using it. One hit with the Screw attack, and Samus is usually able to obliterate her enemies, but since MC is a Spartan, I’d give him 2 hits at the most. Samus can also use this technique to “Fly."

Sorry Zeus Jr., didn’t mean to... I skipped half your message by accident... What if Samus used her Annihilator Beam or Sonic Boom? It has the same attributes as Wave from Prime 1, 'coz it follows your enemies. Samus could hide somewhere, fire her Annihilator, and the beam tracks down MC...But I don’t think she’d hide: compare Multiplayer Levels. MP2E has no places to hide, except on the ledges in Shooting Gallery. I haven’t played Multiplayer on Halo 2, but in Halo, there were plenty of places to hide for cowards to sniper or shoot rockets at a “safe” distance. All I’m saying is MC’s a coward and hides, while Samus goes and faces her enemies head on.

Halo 1/2 is just senseless violence. The Metroid Series has PLOT. Yes, Halo has a storyline, but it is repetitive. Metroid Prime 1/2 has depth. Unlike Metroid Prime 1/2, in Halo you just go aroung shooting the Coevenant, Flood etc. The only reason why Halo 2 was the most anticpated game of the year was because it was on XBox, not Gamecube. Hell, if MP was on XBox (God forbid) it was be popular. It’s just 'coz its on the GC, which makes it “not as good as Halo”. (Which is a load of .... to any real gamer that has played both)

Master chief has fought some pretty dang big foes like Scarab and has fought the flood and were forgeting about Cortana the one that is good at tracking enemy targets before seeing them and tell us the weakness so he can kick the crap out of her and if he has a rocket and a sword he would definately win if far away he would launch it if close he would destroy her arm with a sword and dont say i dont know her abilities I have played both games and they arent electronic there controlled by his thoughts dont you read the books

master chief kicks ass! o and just so u know, chief might not be smarter, but he’s definatly faster and stronger after all the physical agumentations Dr. Halsey made. not to mention his reaction times close to a hundredth of a second, and his weapons are better. samus is only good on SSBM, only cause the chief’s not on that. i bet the reason u all think sumas is better’s cuz u think gamecubes better than XBox lol.
