dense_electric Guest | Garaiavu, im assuming u havnt played halo 1/2, u do much more than just kill, such as finding the skulls, trying to get to places bungie didnt want u to go, or getting the scarab gun (damn, that things so TIGHT!!!) It’s not senseless killing, if u read the books, it says chief dosn’t hate the enemy, he kills them because he knows its his duty to kill them. and with the repetative thing (i.e.) in gravemind, cortana says “we’ll detonate In Amber Clad’s reactors, just like we did the Autumn’s." How else do you propose they destroy it the first one they were trying to get off halo and stop the flood from escaping, in the second one, they were trying to kill truth, regret, mercy, and the heritic leader.
