even though master cheif has been attacked by the flood he would not stand a chance against a creature like a metroid were as samus can escape their grasp by laying a morph ball bomb or a power bomb. master cheif would just have to wait for the metroid to suck his life out due to the fact he has no bombs or the like.

Master Chief can’t kill Metroids. They are only susceptible to ice based attacks or electric attacks. Even Fire or dark... etc but no weapon of MC’scould harm Metroids, just aggravate them into attacking him. But remember, this isn’t a Metroid vs. MC forum, this is Samus vs. MC

and if a metroid does latch onto mc and his sheilds do regenerate the metroid will just keep getting stronger and draw out more and mor energy thus killing him.

k josh, heres ur fukin comeback, one rocket cant kill chief in halo 2 unless its in the head or at point blank, id id like to see samus get that close or be that accurate. also the jackhammer rockets the chief usess are far more powerfull than samus’s dinky pen sized one lol. and even if chief got hit, chances r he’d survive so he could doge a second one and those missles go pretty slow so chief could dodge the first one
and plasma grenades have a blast radius of 30 feet according to the halo 2 guide (never argue with the guide!), which 2 could easily punch through samus’s armor. plus, im not sur if samus dose, but chief’s got armor which can extend from a hair under a mm to several feet out
and if u cant think of a comeback to my comeback then chief wins o and dont say stuff like thats not true, at least give a reason when u do

anyways for my pick on metroids vs spartans, spartans would kick ass cuz metroids like to work alone, but spartans can function alone, in small units, or as a team the only advantage the metroids would have would be numbers, but the spartans could just plant HAVOK tactical nukes, request ODST Helljumper support, or, if things got out of hand, request super MAC gun fire

dense_electric, obviously you haven’t played any of the 2D Metroid games. It isn’t specfic about dimensions in this topic, so 2D weapons count. What about the Ice missiles or Diffusion Missiles, both are in Fusion. They work a treat. Especially Diffusion, they have a large splash, or impact radius. Can’t accurately judge how fast they can go though, being 2D and all.

Has anyone thought about Samus' Hyper beam. Samus (I’m talking about the person that posted comments here) touched on it briefly for a sentence. But if Samus got REALLY emotional, perhaps the hubs would activate and blow MC away... that’s if MC was beating Samus. Which could possibly happen, but in my opinion Samus would still whip Spartan arse.
In comparison, what is the 'ultimate' Halo weapon? would it be any match to the Hyperbeam?
And if they are playing in an environment with pure Phazon (Stuff Metroid Prime shoots out from his tentacles), Samus could use the Phazon beam (If she was wearing the Phazon Suit)... And MC wouldn’t stand a chance against something so radioactive as Phazon... oh, and MC can’t adapt to all environments at all. Hell if he was in Phazon mines or Dark Aether, he wouldn’t last a minute.

If any of the stuff you talked about even existed i would agree. I side with Master Cheif because all the stuff he went through is believeable. If the stuff was real i theik the Master Cheif would get a run for his money but would still win over all.

sedah, what do you mean if any of the stuff existed you’d agree?! What the hell? MC doesn’t exist, too. In MP 1/2, it explains more stuff, like how Thardus is alive, or how Dark Samus can 'explode'. What about Halo? Oh, yeah, the Flood leach onto you and now they control you... great explanation.... How is that believable?!
Oh, and Vaga, MC’s fake too, so you’ve got no evidence to back up your 'pull out a rocket launcher and blow Samus to pieces' theory.

MC is based on actual knowledge that we know. Everything that makes up the Chief is actually possible, where as practically everything about Samus makes little or no sense at all. Unlimited rockets just doesnt make sense, they don’t just produce out of thin air. The ball doesn’t make sense either, unless it reconfigured her bone structure. MC on the other hand uses many modern day technologies and expands on technologies that are being currently developed, if not already done so by the government. So for those of you talking about what’s realistic or not, MC is a lot closer to any reality.
