I said that too. The dust is a potential death hazard for your console. Sony doesn’t cover issues like that.

So yes. Told ya. (to all ps3 fans who didn’t believe me)

You never said that to me. We just argued about how dusty each console got.

I posted that. you prob just didn’t see it. I know 21gamer did. and demon Slayer. and i told PS3 Fan.

Isn’t that technically against the law?

No, they get away with it under the “act of god” clause, which basically states that “we’re not liable if nature kicks your ass"

At least the 360 is covered by the 1337 3 year warranty.

Yes, it breaks because of dust. Now Xbots and Nintendo fanboys will have more ammo against Sony fanboys.

You’d be surprised how dust can affect electronics. I open up my computer once a month and clean it. It stays quiet and cool because it has room to breath.

The same goes for the PS3 as well. Too much dust can simply clog it up and kill it.

Wow, sucks to be you then.

But look at it this way, if reports start coming in massive quantities that this happened, Sony will be forced to fix the problem or they’ll face several large lawsuits. Either way, you’re safe.

Also, if that doesn’t make you happy. This guy claimed he took REAL good care of his PS3 and it still crapped out, this is the first report of it happening. So chances are, it’s not going to be on a large scale like the RROD, especially considering it didn’t happen to somebody like my brother who never cleans his PS3.
