Just doing a poll to see how many of you FPS’ers enable Vertical Look Inversion. I myself have Look Inversion enabled which means if I want to look 'up' I would pull 'down' on the right analog stick and vise-verse to look 'down' I would push 'up' on the right analog stick. Figures, I’m left handed and goofy footed as well.

now u need to step into the future of graphics...then u’ll be Uber.
Since I’m so attuned to playing FPS games with a mouse and keyboard, I’m used to up being up and down being down. My reaction first and foremost is that up is up, so if I had it inverted, I would mess up more often than if not.
And even if you do like it, the only benefit you get is that you are playing with a preferred style.
Now, I am very used to inverted analog control, since I used to play Starfox 64 religiously. Actually, whenever I pop in that game, even after so long, it still comes natural.

No matter what though, M&K pwn the controller.
This poll has nothing to do with mouse and keyboard vs.. But since you brought it up, I could never invert the Mouse. I think the reason why I’m tuned to inverted on the analog stick is from flying genre games where it is inverted and yes, as you mentioned Starfox 64, flight navigator, top gun, afterburn etc. amongst a few others have inverted vertical controls. As well in real life airplane controls are inverted so I think that’s how I came accustom to inverted on analog stick.

I just had to bring it up...
I may try it for awhile, see if I can get the hang of it. May make for an interesting run in Halo 3.
