There’s so many stupid threads about so many teeny tiny subjects of one game.

Threads about the launch of Super Mario Galaxy? Come on. What’s there to talk about? Instead of talking about the launch, why not talk about the actual game?

And of course there’s the review thread for the same game. Reviews, what you might think the game section is made for. But nope, it’s literally a list of the ratings OTHER sites have given the game.

The same is true for a lot of big game releases, but SMG is the most recent and now most noticeable.

And all the “Fan Club” threads.

Nintendo Fan Club
Wii Fan Club
Super Smash Bros Brawl Fan Club

Most of those have died but I still see them pop up every now and then. Does a fan club for a game that’s not even out yet really need a fan club, along with its system and the makers of the system?

I think mods should crack down and people need to stop making 5 topics for the SAME GAME unless it’s absolutely needed (like the Diamond/Pearl trading post, it serves a purpose and is more manageable than trying to keep up in the D/P thread). Yeah, it’s a big game but just shut up.

Here’s an idea for Super Mario Galaxy. Instead of having a launch thread, review thread, and then maybe a review thread from mvc users who have played the game, why not put that all in a thread just called “Super Mario Galaxy”? You could spice it up with exclamation points or whatever but it’s a lot easier and a lot less pointless.

Some people posts on topics and nobody cares until they make a topic. People don’t look at some posts and people get mad and try to make it more regonizable.
