Moderation in the music forum

Have we got a dedicated moderator for the music forum? If not, can it be assigned one?

There’s rarely much activity in there outside of rap battles, rap vs. rock threads and endless flaming, and I can’t help but think the place would be a bit more lively if it was less full of morons (ie, moderated a bit more pro-actively).

Any thoughts?

I used to go there alot, but after the ICP threads were locked I’ve been lacking..

I have no problem with getting more active there, though.

I was trying to get Baybee Chronic a moderator in place of Kev360 (since Kev isn’t very active) but it didn’t quite work out.

I think it would be wise to have someone knowledgable in Rap and Hip-Hop co-moderating with someone more Rock and Metal orientated, to save any conflicts/allow more fair moderation, IMHO.

Well, we certainly don’t need any extra moderators, we recently added three to the team, and at the moment we’re fine. If you guys want to help, you can simply PM me links to things that should be taken care of. I don’t venture into the music section often, but if I’m told there is a problem, I’ll handle it.

We also have the report button to further allow members to help in the moderator of topics. Not to mention that as a member you do have the right to explain the rules to people who are breaking them.
