Wooh holidays coming early for Europe/Other regions in the gaming market. Especially if your a handheld that starts with a D and ends with an S. Check out last week’s sales in that area provided by VGCharts:
Wow is all I can say. First its important to note that DS + Wii + GBA equal more sales than all the rest combined. That’s Nintendomination at its best.
Second Wii sales in jsut the UK and France are higher combined than PS3 in all territories. Same goes for 360 obviously.
Thirdly PS2 has once again outsold the PS3 and 360 in this region, which it is mostly getting sales from the markets that Wii is not completely dominating in.
Fourthly all products went up a percentage this week showing holidays are coming home early here. Increases for these are probably due to the numerous amount of big games released last week: noteably SMG and Assassin’s Creed.
