chuck treeplanting .. well .. not altogether .. .. but for heavenssake .. GO SOLAR FIRST !!!
.......huh?........
“going solar” doesn’t pay the bills my friend
nor does going solar make toilet paper or those really annoying junk mail adverts

Going solar DEFINITELY,
cuts fossil fuel emissions to NIL
cuts dependency on gulf states
prevents stress on the economy
causes more equitable distribution of resources
and so on...
also .. believe me or not . it DOES CUT YOUR BILLS BY A LOT MORE THAN YOU THINK
treeplanting .. NEED NOT .. but MAY Wait .. for we have a MUCH bigger task at hand .. which is cutting down carbon emissions..
Haha, sorry Pain, I was making a joke.
I was being sarcastic about the “good” that my treeplanting does.
It’s a hard job that pays well, and I make enough to pay for a big chunk of university. So my main motivation is the money, but I kinda like the challenge and I love living in the outdoors for three months.
The trees are planted for the forest industry...so they’ll just be cut down again. But that’s a lot better then cutting into old-growth forests(which I’m against).
Solar’s great, but, well, as I don’t have a house of my own at the moment, nor could I afford them it doesn’t really do me much good at present time

i have a question do you dig up the ground and plant a grown tree
or do you plant a seed.
and if you plant a seed do you have to water it, and take care of it while it needs it or do you just put sprinklers by it.
We plant saplings. You can see how big they are in the picture below. We carry them around in those bags (strapped around our waist) and plant them with that shovel I’m holding on the other page (though I do have a new shovel now that’s not broken

) Oh, and no, they don’t need any TLC, they’re planted in the woods (as per the first picture I posted).
