Rap/rock fusion has been done waaaaaaay before Linkin Park kev.

Rage Against the Machine anyone?

Also, if you like the TSO, look into some other neo-classical stuff like Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force, Michael Angelo Batio, and Buckethead.

Technically speaking yes, but I wish to God they’d mix their albums a bit better.

Most shredders venture into neo-classical.

The only rap group I really liked was an underground rap group called Haiku. I found them on iTunes and really liked them.

Actually, yeah. Meshuggah, Nile and Cryptopsy are all on a par, IMO, but for different reasons.

lol.

For somebody making fun of metal music, you listen to some bands that should be considered even worse than metal. Not saying metal is bad.

serj i think is one of the best (if not the best) artist preforming right now. queen is the most skilled band of all time, beatles were probably one of the most innovative, and i gotta say i respect linkin park for fusing rap and rock, and doing it well. oh, and, i gotta mention TSO (trans-siberian orchestra). they are not that big of a band, but they are very very good. its basically a blend of classical and metal. yeah. pretty crazy. and, it sounds great still, somehow. they did 3 christmas themed cd’s, and now have moved on to just general stuff.

oh, btw, mr.96, thanks for making this thread. its a good way for rockers and rappers to come together without hating each other. by appreciating the skill that goes into music.
will i know which is why im going to look up most of these guys on artistdirect.com to see if there good but i already know most of the rappers and a few of the rockers (good thing theres no gayass chris brown, rihanna, or akon)
