I fought Martial Artist and I lose... He is smaller and have same power like me but have skilled in jutsu and techs... and also experiences...

martial artist is the winner...

*darn it*

So you fought a unskilled fighter and won, but fought a skilled fighter and lost.

Whats your point.

you place too much emphasis on strength and musculature as a show of a fighters disipline.

Guarantee you fight a vale tudo fighter and you’ll lose. Just so you know, they’re the big powerful guys with muscles that CAN fight.

You basically fought a unskilled brawler who happened to be a street fighter.

Surely you are aware that there are many..MANY unskilled amateur martial artists out there that you could beat.

Hell, I place my lifes savings that a expert Muay Thai fighter would beat the living snot out of a Expert Jujitsu fighter, or a Taekwondo or a Karate master.

I once saw on tv a fight where the other guy won by tickling the other guy into submission. Is that legal? and if so, would you resolve to that?

Would I resort to tickling my opponent?

I have tickled my wife into submission when we were sparing, but generally I prefer a more direct method of winning by submission.

A few well placed punches and an opponent will agree to anything, especially when you hit them just hard enough to keep them conscious but really hurting.

Failing that, there are a great many pressure points and nerve centers around the body, that when struck or handled correctly, can cause excruciating pain, partial temporary paralysis or worse.

So.....basically...no, I probably wouldn’t tickle my opponent, after all, its a fight, not foreplay.

Anyone can kick, punch and throw people about.

A skilled fighter can defend, attack and counter all in one fluid movement and read his or her opponents techniques and capatalize on their telegraphing.

What if that was his weakness, and you know that would take him down because you heard it from reliable sources? Maybe it’s a hot chick your fighting, and you tickle, and then bau-chika-bow wow!wink

BAH, it is a coward that brings a gun to a fight.

A man or woman of such little worth I would not piss on them if they were on fire.

Guns, the weapon of cowards across the world.

I don’t fight females generally, not unless they are over 6 ft and are built like arnie.

That said, if I was fighting an opponent whos only weakness was tickling, I would still try and beat them by conventional means, but failing that...sure I would tickle them.

I’ve done worse to win a match:/

Very rare someone like that afterall... Now people at one on one goes to submission or newaza... but if goes to mass fighting then people goes to punching and kicking...

btw, the guy that I defeat before get the gold medal in street fighting...

I well versed fighter knows judo, jujitsu and akido to reverse submission take downs and a variety of offensive arts to inflict damage onto their opponents no mater what their discipline.

true, it is rare for someone to train intensively for this purpose, but myself and a few of my previous opponents share the same goal in life. To be the best fighter in the world, even if it kills us.

There are born fighters out there who train using extreme body conditioning techniques used by die hard dojos in Thailand, Korea, Japan the Philippines and Brazil. They are the true street fighting champs.

This is part of the reason I wish to go to Japan.

My wife is friends with a sensei in Kyoto with whom I wish to train in the old ways.

My aim is to fight enough skilled opponents here in Australia to be worthy of his time and skill.

The real street fighters are not the brawlers but the repeat fighters, the ones who dedicate a decent percentage of their week to training, conditioning and fighting.

Unskilled brawlers fighting on the streets are just like any unskilled fighter of any discipline who hasn’t been training for real combat.

i would say street fighting would rule this debate, purely because it incorporates all forms of martial arts in to one supreme fighting technique

Martial artists have a variety of weapons, but when did you stop and consider a street fighter might have a handgun or something else that takes most of the skill out of the fight against an unarmed oppenent anyway?
