Ah, so US currency is still worth slightly more. However, by this graph I don’t think it will be worth more than Canadian currency for long...
Actually the Canadian dollar is stronger than the US dollar currently. 1 US dollar is worth 98 cents Canadian. A US dollar is not equal to a complete Canadian dollar, it is less than. If it were the other way around, then 1 US dollar would equal something like $1.14 Canadian (that’s an example from back when the US dollar was significantly higher).
I don’t know if you can view ebay.ca properly when you live in the US, but for example a pair of Prada shoes is currently at $207 US. But for Canadians the current price is $204.

one reason for sure is that EXPORTS are the main source of income for the japanese&chinese
to make them cheaper, they devalue their currency so that when folks pay in DOLLARS, they get GREATER AMOUNTS of YEN
But since this makes IMPORTS more expensive.. its a bargain actually and the decision depends not only on the relative value of Imports & Exports but also on the level of development in the economy, nature & content of import/exports, socio-politcial conditions etc

The Aussie dollar is going up right?
Yes, as is the NZ dollar. Its all to do with the American Economy.
And this is old. Real old.
Psh. So what? If we can’t revive old threads, that means we can never have an old discussion ever again, because we can’t make two of the same topic either.
