At the very least, the cartoons were better, at least what most networks showed in the 90’s was better.

But, if you go beyond basic cable, I doubt you’d say TV is better then...

I disagree, even the sitcoms were better.

Remember Raymond?

Everybody Loves Raymond? Wasn’t a fan, if that’s what you’re talking about...

But even then, Seinfield is still better than most modern sitcoms. So, yeah, basic cable television went downhill. Still, the stuff you find now on Discovery Channel and the other channels like it, where you, God forbid, actually can learn, have much better stuff. Mythbusters is one helluva show.

However, G4 has always sucked ass.

We want TV.

Not boring.

I’ve always thought Mythbusters was boring as all hell. And it is.

No, its not.

Its much better than listening to a monotone old fart go on about a subject. But, shoot, don’t want to learn? Fine by me.

Nevertheless, I agree TV is a waste of brain cells. Can’t even get a real laugh anymore, or even genuine interest. I think the only thing I watch now is anime and Comedy Central.

Oh yeah back before the boring reality trash took over, when I used to watch the original ninja turtles. (best american tv show ever). I also loved Rescue Rangers, Gummi bears, Duck Tales (best disney tv show ever blows all their “new” fucked up looking animated shows out of the water) and He-Man.

For the non-animated stuff I loved Tales from the darkside, monsters, First Wave, (should have never been cancelled scifi’s best show since), Unsolved Mysteries (used to watch every friday night with my family, Robert Stack was the MAN), and Amazing Stories.

TV networks are just plain lazy now and I mainly have just been gaming and watching foriegn stuff. I go to the movies now and then for movies like Iron Man, The Hulk and the new Batman which are must sees, but I really don’t watch american Video Media anymore.
