i dont think by animals it meant germs and bacteria though. see, the genesis account was made so people back then can easily relate to it. it didnt say God created the planets jupiter or mars because people dont know what jupiter or mars was. likewise, people didnt know what bacteria was back then.

but why was the commandment made in the firstplace? why is it wrong to be gay? well, im not sure exactly but there must be a perfectly good reason.
for example; why did the bible command that babies should be circumcised on the eight day? why the eight? well, did u know that blood clots best on the eight day.

Basically it’s saying “Conquer them and destroy their religious property”.

first off u cant be racist to gay people because, homosexuality isnt a race.
second off, u should realize that many of the laws given at the time are abolished since jesus came and set new laws. example no work on the sabath, jesus changed that. another example, circumcision, it was required, not anymore. all the death sentences are abolished.
