They’re really cheap... I’m getting a laptop from Circuit City tomorrow... hopefully... $299... It’s originally worth $699. O.o

We’re talking wireless card built in, 1.5 gigs of ram, and a 160 gigabyte hard drive. Good stuff for cheap. lol

but the problem is..

I’m on an old Compaq computer I found in the shed..

When the laptop went down, it was really all I had..

and the CD player doesn’t work, so I’m stuck on Windows 98, too..

On dialup, because they don’t offer anything else this high in the mountains..

MVC and MSN are pretty muich all I can do on this computer..

But fixing my laptop would be more expensive than buying a new one.. =/

Treeplanter, I saw your request to have your sig removed and I am very sorry, but I chose to ignore it. I like it, and if I had the time, I too would have constructed anti war as I don’t believe in thousands of people dying for some silly power trip, I also don’t believe in warfare using firearms as bullets don’t discriminate between friend, foe or civilians.

My vote goes to you Treeplanter. It might not be the most graphically accomplished signature in the competition this week, but it really does hold resonance within my heart.

I can repair it for practically nothing. And it would be a good laptop.
