Don’t you already have a premium?
yeah but i want HDMI (in new premiums)
Then break your 360 and have Microsoft give you a new one.
Except they don’t give you a new one.
Those were just rumors, or maybe a few exceptional cases. But, just so you know, the whole repair process is not set up the way it is just so they can send you a new one. Why would the repair hotline have a repair progress? Taking the time to do that for just sending a new 360 is a waste of money. Besides, Joystiq already confirmed they send the old 360 back, and I’ve read many testimonials online saying that people didn’t get an new, HDMI enabled 360, but rather their old one fixed.

Actually, they sometimes send your old one back, but most of the time it’s a new one.
As far as I’ve read, most of the time it isn’t.
Then again, that was a while ago, back when the HDMI thing was still really new in the 360.
And, no DS, I didn’t find an adapter. Why do you need one anyway? Is your TV HDMI only? Unfortunately, I can only find DVI/HDMI adapters, which is what I expected since its a digital-to-digital conversion.
I’ll also ask, how old is your 360? If its over a year old, breaking it won’t do shit. You’ll still have to drop the fee on it for repairs, unless you give it the RRoD.

Unless you can prove that, I don’t really believe it.
