it’s just a giant psp. i already have a wii and 360 and i don’t want a ps3 after the wii outsold it and just found out it’s just another a shiner,newer,ps2
Dude, I regret the 360. At least with the PS3 I’d have at least 3 games I know I’ll play for years and years. The 360 has no long term games for me. ---

Well, yeah...
I mean, FFXII and MGS4 aren’t even out yet, and by the time they are the PS3 will either be cheaper or have cheaper options. ---

I’d almost agree with them, unless you love Halo 3.
I, personally, feel I shoulda just waited it out for a PS3 so I can play FFXIII and MGS4.
But hey, can’t go wrong with Halo 3 or Gears of War, or XBL.
I just want it so I don’t have to keep useing my friend’s Xbox to review games ---

As far as I’ve read, most of the time it isn’t.
Then again, that was a while ago, back when the HDMI thing was still really new in the 360.
And, no DS, I didn’t find an adapter. Why do you need one anyway? Is your TV HDMI only? Unfortunately, I can only find DVI/HDMI adapters, which is what I expected since its a digital-to-digital conversion.
I’ll also ask, how old is your 360? If its over a year old, breaking it won’t do shit. You’ll still have to drop the fee on it for repairs, unless you give it the RRoD.
well mine’s a launch...still hasn’t broken.

Adapters are usually used for getting new technology to work on older things, not the other way around. So, an adapter wouldn’t help you if that’s your case.
And, if you don’t get the RRoD, you will have to shell out the fee for repairs. Its the only fault covered by the 3 year warranty. ---

That’s straight bullshit.
I know, because there is an obvious difference when I bump up my games from 800x600 to 1600x1200 on a PC, and I’m probably, at most, 2 feet away.
Granted, certain HD technologies don’t work so well in a close distance, but I can tell you right now that I sure as hell noticed a difference playing next gen games in HD from SD, sitting at that distance range.
Also, at a larger distance, the images are going to be more aliased, so less clear. You would appropriately see the difference in detail, unless you have a small screen. In fact, the screen would have to be tiny. ---

I don’t see a huge difference between the two. And sometimes, from what I’ve seen, HD looks worse.
Although it may have been the TV.

I don’t think an HDMI adapter would do you any justice because your 360 is set to analog component. Also, there are different options in the 360 System Display settings for HDMI capable Elite 360’s than analog component HDTV settings for regular 360’s. ---

That can be the case. Some TV’s don’t interpret the signal as well as they should.
Good HDTV’s have a far clearer picture. I’ve seen the difference. But, think about it: You have a game with bad textures and polygonal edges. In lower resolution, these were hidden. Now, they’re more clear. One “rule” of HD is, the flaws are more apparent as well as the beauty. ---

SD only looks bad when your an inch from the screen.
It’s just weird how so many people think it looks like garbage.

My eyes almost bleed looking at my son’s 360 in his bedroom with Standard Definition. Soo bad in fact I’m willing to buy him a little 32” LCD HDTV just for that reason. ---
