Guitar Hero 3 definetly is better gameplay wise on its one area but Rock Band definetly will do more for the hardcore rock guy getting to be a band. But GHIII does it better than Rock Band does in its areas.

I forgot to mention that the guitar for rock band sucks ass compared to the ones for GH3. 1) not wireless. 2) suck ass strum bar. 3) unresponsive buttons. I played it for like 5 hrs at my friends house and none of us wanted to use the RB guitar we were always fighting for the GH3 guitar...haha.

Yeah I always love the GH guitarssmiley

eh, i like Rockband better. The drums are very responsive, and the guitar is harder... there’s less time reaction with rockband then there is with GH3, so u have to be more exact. the drums just on hard is freakin' insane... guitar wise, it doesn’t matter to me 'cause they’re compatible either way... except,i just like the added button functionalities on rockband’s guitar better.

Yeah the devs said it thereselves “This game is not a single player game.......this game runs around a lot of people playing like at parties."

The game is a slow version of a Guitar Hero on single player but with 4 people it will rock....

All around I would give my vote to GH3 but I havn’t had enough time with Rock Band to make it official.

it’s not that slow... maybe the first few songs, but trust me, it gets pretty fast later on, and the solo tour isn’t that bad either. does anyone really have both GH3 and Rockband like i do? the only difference is the layout and timing. and did anyone notice that RB’s guitar added extra frets for better solos?
