but not equal power to piccolo if you will used that it means he can kill goku’s enemies and he doesn’t need the z fighters to trained to fight saiyan.
goku surpass kami at tournament it means he boost more than 1000 times and kami power there is only just between 180 to 260.
and piccolo merge to nail from freeza saga so what happened did he surpassed freeza?

did he became as strong as android saga after fusion with nail?

right it would depend on the training Piccolo endured like when he joined with Kami he had just finished training for 3yrs with Goku and Gohan so much so Krillin and Co thought he was almost as strong as an SSJ, so naturally joining with Kami made him much stronger than a Super Saiyan.
And i dunno Joining with Kami in the saiyan saga id say would make Piccolo stronger than Raditz, then 1 year later he was naturaly stronger than Raditz was anyway so id say with Kami joining with him at that stage he could take Nappa at least, but if he trained the year with Kami inside of him he would crush Nappa...Vegeta is a big mabe tho lol
And yes Kami has shit load’s of Ki inside him by the Buu saga Popo could block blows from SSJ Goten and Trunks...Kami who is stronger than Popo would fend much better, so the amass of power Kami held showed when he merged with Piccolo, it made a being stronger than both combined.

Then after a years training Piccolo was beyond Raditz power so if he had merged with Kami he would have been already stronger than Raditz before they trained for the year meaning Piccolo would have been much stronger when they fought Nappa and Vegeta (i dare say Piccolo would crush Nappa and possibly put up a good fight against Vegeta).
The reason im so certain is Nail told Piccolo if he had returned to Namek as his true self he could have destroyed Freiza but as he was he stood no chance (keeping in mind Nail’s fusion was weaker than the one Kami would have given and that could take on Freiza’s 2nd Form).
So id say Kami had some major power stored up inside him, and Popo could not have blocked Cell Cell would rape Goten and Trunks be seriouse.
