To run G-Mod 10 on High, with a bunch of stuff going on, with no lag?

Just wondering... >_>

It’s the main reason I’ll be getting a new computer, that and Medieval Total War 2.

If you want to multi-task, Intel is the best way to go, but for pure gaming, I’d go with an AMD.

My PC is an AMD 6800+
Running Vista
4GB DDR2 800 RAM
36 GB Raptor II main drive for O/S and high performance apps,
250 GB 7200 SATA drive for other stuff
512 MB ATI Pro with TV-in/out
Soundblaster Audigy Card
42 WS LCD HDTV/Monitor


Total Cost was around 3,100, but a little over 2k for the monitor, and that was purchased a few months ago. 1100 for the system. Have yet to see anything it can’t run with everything set to max.

Throw in BOSE studio headphones, and the gaming headset, 3500 total.

Well, thats a top end system. 1,100 for the hardware itself, you dont need to spend 2k+ on the monitor.

I’m not saying that’s the minimum you’d need to do that, but I’m saying I know that system could run anything you’d ever want thats out right now with 0 lag, 0 choppiness, and at 1920x1200 WS resolution

Yeah, it’s a nice comp apparently. But i’m not looking to play Crysis or anything. I just want Black and White 2, Medieval Total war 2, and G-Mod.

Nothing fancy, but something that can get the job done.

Heh, take it from a man who who plays garrysmod 10 ALOT with his friends, tries out all the downloads, and does some just completely random shit. (putting a trhuster on a watermellon) you will not need more than a gig of ram. I lined up 50 metrocops vs 50 rebels all with the anebelle gun, they all killed each other with barely any lag.

the animals are Lion, Cow, Tiger, Wolf....and i think that’s it.

But every level in the game i always made a huge warlike city (my hand was a demon hand ) and my cow always ate my citizens (who were all sluts...yes u can actually make ur citizens sluts and tehy’ll be flirting with ppl on the streets and then they go intoa house and...yeah u’ll c ).


But it was a good game...i wishi didn’t sell it

I was actually thinking the Halo mod.

Your creature can be a covenant alien, like a grunt, brute, etc.

And all your citizens are marines, your soldiers are Spartans.
