How the hell do you beat the last boss on Mass Effect?

Ok its pissing me off so bad, after you beat saren the first time, the second form is so frustrating, it moves to fast, takes forever to take the shield down, and the shield recovers so fast.


And if you die you start the whole match all the way over.

Has someone already fought this guy and how did you beat him?

when you talk to him the first time, be REALLY nice to him, you should end up not fighting him a second time.

yep, played ME nonstop for like 2 days.

It’s not that hard, all you have to do is to head to the other side of the small arena youre at and hide behind the big Beam. Then you use ammo with shield bypass. I noticed that shooting him to get the shield down was totally ineffective. cuz he recharges it instantly. Try to hide behind the beam, move around so he cant shoot you with his rockets. When he stops on the walls, you have the chance to shoot him, hide behind the beam just enough for him to hit it with his rockets, and you should still be able to shoot him.

Just remember, shield ypass is the key.

hey i am plugging saren with bullets for 30 mins straight and his sheild/energy is not even going down, am i misssing something you hafta do or is my game/xbox glitchin out?

Just shoot the shit out of him. It took me a while...but I never died...he didn’t do much damage...

I’m a soldier by the way.

I just got my best of each weapon, put in shredder rounds or whatever(I wasn’t sure if he was organic or synthetic at that point), activated that weapon power thing, blasted till it overheated, switched to the next gun, activated the power, blasted till it overheated, switched, etc....

Use cyro rounds or photon rounds.

Cyro rounds are less accurate and photon rounds do less damage.

Or just keep shooting him with high power rounds. That’s what I did.
