Its better for competition, and I don’t mean the type of competition you and your friends have. I mean actual gaming competition.
Then again, unranked is only better when ranked determines what you get in a game. Like in Battlefield 2 and 2142, those with higher ranks get advantages, which is bull. Same goes for Call of Duty 4 (in competition, these were banned).
But, I can’t deny something akin to Starcraft or Halo is fun. Just getting a title can be something to work for.
unranked matches are kindof unfair if your not good at it u’ll just throw the controller at your hd tv screen and start cussing and shut the game off and be in a bad mood all day
i seem to like ranked better, because it gives me more of a reason to play online against strangers. if it wasnt ranked id get bored and quit playing online plus, going against rank 1 people when your a low rank kinda sux.
