Fucking pwn.
If only the fire didn’t blurt out the dragon so much...
Not really.
Its really cheap if you know the render he has used. all the work was already done for him pretty much, he just adjusted the brightness/contrast and brightened up the image a bit, added a few touches and presto..cool looking dragon sig.
Actually, it’s not brightness/contrast, I created a background and blended the render into it some, I think I used the hard light blend, but I can’t really remember completely. It took me about an hour to do, and most of that time was spend on creating a background that blended right. But now that you mention it, I probably could have altered the color, brightness, and contrast and got nearly the same effect. But in order to get the different shades across the render I would have needed to do a bit more work...
And I was thinking about cutting most of the fire out of the render, but in the end it didn’t look nearly as good.
But I wouldn’t necessarily call it cheap. =/
Its probably more my initial surprise upon finding the actual render used than anything else. I was initially astounded by the fire effect but upon finding the render, i became aware that all that fire (well most of it) was part of the initial render, so I was how do we say un-astounded in this finding.
Its a good sig, you made it better. No doubt about that and my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt as I am but only one voice and should not be taken to heart. ---

What’s with the Alpha and Omega symbols?
If you don’t mind my asking.
I’ll be glad to answer.
I had made saying on a little wallpaper-esque thing I made with the Alpha and Omega symbols: “I am the Alpha, the Omega, and everything in between."
In mathematics, domains/ranges(lists, I guess...) are written in interval notation “[a, b)." The brackets [] are used when the number is included in the domain, and the parenthesis () mean it is not included, but the list goes up to. So that’s saying the range of numbers is from a, with a being included, to b, with b not being included.
So, my domain is from Alpha to Omega, both inclusive. I thought it was clever. ---

A revised version.
Added a few touches I felt put a bit more consistency.
This post is the one I want to enter. ---

So since Alpha and Omega pretty much means the beginning and the end, that pretty much means that the domain is everything?
Pretty clever indeed. ---

Just a heads up, almost all my entries up until the new year will probably be submitted early to late thursday MVC time due to my excessive workload. I will however be submitting a entry to every SOTW.
I have only missed out on one and that was the seasons one cause I ran out of time to submit my entry. ---

It’s not too good, but I like it, especially considering I haven’t done a sig like this in a year.
