I have a project to do on the Inquisitions.

From what I understand, there was a French Inquisition and there was also a Spanish Inquisition.

To refresh anyone’s memory, it was a tool used by the Catholic church to condemn heretics.

Can someone please help me make sense of the chronology and information and maybe provide some useful links ...

P.S Its supposed to be in French which is why I need a good understanding so I know what I’m translating.

I knew of the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisitions, and I supposed other ones existed, but I didn’t know them.
