nahhh think about it Squall trained attained SeeD Rank S and became the defacto leader of all SeeD defeating Ultimacia who prety much had power over space and time, not to mention the Lionheart Blade and Limit Break pwn the Omni Slash and Buster Sword.
They were fate protected or whatever. Squall beat ultimecia with help from 5 other people.
Cloud beat Sephiroth on his OWN, without any materia, with anything to augment his abilities.
Whether you like a sword or no is irrelavent xD
Lionheart looks more flashy, but Squall has to wait until he’s dying to perform a limit break (Cloud’s really gonna do a Sephiroth and lose lol) And no aura’s to help Squall either.
Cloud’s limits are based on emotion and damage received.
But forget game mecahnics, Cloud uses almost every limit break in AC without being angry or damaged (look how easily he used Blade Beam?)
Speed:
Cloud is faster a LOT faster than Squall, Cloud can dodge bullets, slices from Sephiroth and dodge Lightning-like attacks from Kadaj.
Squall got taken hit by a fire from Seifer. Hit by Edea’s Blizzard, watched Seifer cut his face off lol. Look at the pace of which Squall was fighting Sephiroth and compare it to even the pace or Reno. Sorry but nearly all of the AC characters could beat Squall.
Strength:
Cloud cuts buildings in half for fun, smacks bahamut like he’s his bitch, Slams SEPHIROTH through a building, and Actually takes Sephiroth out too.
I haven’t seen Squall done anything close to this, he’s more of a near peak human.
Durability:
Squall gets taken out by a blizzard from ultimecia, and then he fell asleep lmao. Took Squall a few seconds to get back up when Seifer fired his ass.
Cloud has been shot in the face, punshed by Loz (who threw Tifa into a wall) and was still fighting, got kicked by bahamut, unscathed by it’s mega flare, gets sent a good 400 metres through a building by Sephiroth, and gets up in a few seconds, hell he got stabbing through the chest at 16 and STILL pwned Sephiroth.
Jumps:
Squall had trouble jumping from that Robot with 4 legs, Cloud can jump sky scraper heights.
Sword skill:
It actually doesnt matter how much more training Squall had that Cloud, Zack had more training than Cloud, but Cloud surpassed Zack by the end of VII. If Squall can fight toe on toe with Sephiroth after the other various fights before, I will commend him, if Squall can survive a heavy physical onslaught from Sephiroth, then he is badass.
Squall IS badass I like the guy, but Cloud is on a different level.
It’s like comparing Cloud with AC insane Sephiroth. I like Cloud better, but I damn well know he’d lose if Sephiroth used his power properly.
