Don’t get your hopes up. Infinity Ward is not taking any part in developing COD5 so it’s basically going to be a big pile O' shit like COD3 was.
COD3 wasn’t that bad... it was just not quite as good as COD2.
Yea COD3 on Wii was actually good by the way. Controls were great once you adjusted them to you and pretty much everything else was good. ONly bad thing was no multiplayer, whether offline or online. Otherwise it was a good game. Trust me I beat the bame 10 times at least cause I enjoyed the gameplay so much. Only war shooter single player I’ve ever played more than 2x.

dudde compared to the PS3 and 360 versions COD3 on Wii kinda sucked...sry it just did.
COD3 for the wii was not bad not good either, it was a nice first attempt since it was new controls yet Infinity Ward and Activision were just being cheap bastards this time around to bring it to the DS and not the Wii even though Metroid Prime 3 shattered all control boraders and set a new control standard. Even though COD4 was brought to the DS, Did Activision just want to loose money? I mean sure it worked out well control-wise and everything but they made it an offline only game.
There are only 2 things I am sick of with Game Developers right now:
1. Not developing a game for the wii because of the lame exsues- It has weak graphics or it does not appeal to the hardcore crowd. Shut the hell up developers you very well know that you can make a good game for the wi even though the graphics may not be as hot as the other 2 you can still make them look very good.
2. Developing games but not putting them online- This is the biggest problem with game developers now, sure develop a huge game with great multiplayer but why the hell would you keep it offline!? COD4 on the DS would have been outstanding if Activision got their lazy buts in gear and spent the extra time on it, they could have made a great portable shooter, I can play Metroid online anywhere but not COD4 thanks Activision now I am going to be lonely when I want this game for the DS because no one I know would get it for that platform even if they did not have a working PC, a 360, or PS3. Hell I would have even gotten Brothers in Arms DS but they had to be lazy asses about it. They have the extra money to do it, wether it is on a whole different platform they just choose to be cheap because they feel it is “lacking” when it is not.
Metroid Prime 3 is an exepmt from this factor due to the fact that a multiplayer mode designed to play just like the singleplayer mode would not work, they would have to redue the controls and add beam switching to make it work. Meteos would also be nice online but it is exepmt due to being released before dec-05. The time when the WFC launched.
This is what gamedevelopers need to start taking seriously now, if a game can work for multiplayer then hell put it in, games like Mario or Zelda depends on the game series like Zelda FS or Mario Sports/Kart/Party games all work well. Future Metroid Hunters games can be the basis for multiplayer in the franchise. BW2 worked out nicely as well in multiplayer but come on Activision why did you just try to make a cash in with one of the best gaming franchises around?

Comparatively yes. Content wise it was very poorly made. But control wise it matched and mastered most dual analog control setups of the day. After playing the game numerous times and then playing dual analog games I can almost say this positively.
monotnous war games in general make me cry. COD3 was the first war game I even liked and only because of wiimote controls were good. MOHH2 I also like, but only for the reasons as best Wii online game.
Otherwise they are all the same and all repetative.
