A crime done against people for their beliefs, color, race, religion, political standpoint, etc.
Like, killing a black man for being black, for instance.
Hate crimes are well very objective. I mean lots of times a crime will be committed that is called a hate crime, but really not actually one. Kinda sad to see people use the race card as usually get more time for a hate crime than an assault, ect.
But in general a hate crime, is a crime held out against a specific race, sex, groupe, minority, ect. But there has to be intent found in the hate to prove its a hate crime, although most don’t care. Basically no such thing as assault anymore between the races.

Any act of violence or hostility against another ethnicity, gender, or religion, this includes but is not limited to accidents, any acts that would be considered normal against a person or persons of the same ethnicity, gender, or religion, or using slang against a minority group, if slang is used against a majority group it is considered to be retalition for terrorizing the given person’s family.
