Camila Sodi, a household name in her native Mexico, will be joining the cast as Bulma, a brilliant inventor and scientist on the side of good. Sodi got her start as a model before starring in the 130 episode telenovela Inocente de Ti and hosting a music video program.
Hopefully it won’t be retarded... like have the cast walk around will 6 foot long yellow hair.
The movie is Going to be about Early DB, the Fight Between King Piccolo and Goku, they change the age of Goku from 12 to young Goku, i don´t know more.

Here’s what I’ve been told is the scene by scene quick breakdown of the script. I’m not happy about several parts.
Act 1 : The Beginning
- Goku is an 17 yr old teen who is trained in martial arts by his grandfather, Gohan
- Goku attends a local school along with a child hood friend and love interest, Chi Chi
- Goku is unpopular at school and is periodically harassed
- Goku is involved in a fight at school, people are probably freaked out
- Gohan prepares a dinner for Goku’s 18th birthday
- Gohan is mortally wounded by one of Piccolo’s henchman, who steals the Dragon Ball
- Goku presumably defeats Piccolo’s henchman, retrieving the stolen Dragon Ball
- Goku is told by Gohan to seek Roshi and the remaining Dragon Balls
- Gohan dies, Goku departs on his journey, alone
Act 2 : The Adventure
- Goku encounters a woman named Bulma, who tracked him with a Dragon Ball detecting radar
- More is presumably told of the Dragon Ball legend
- Goku and Bulma locate Roshi
- While on their journey, Roshi begins Goku’s rigorous training
- The travelers fall victim to the pitfalls of a desert wasteland, Yamcha taunts them
- Roshi tells the tale of Piccolo
- Yamcha aides the travelers out of the desert
- nearing the end of their journey, the team encounters Piccolo
- Piccolo ask Goku to join his effort, revealing his Saiyan origin

That picture is from the first day of shooting on Friday, 14 hour day composed almost entirely of walking for us Extras. Day two was much easier thank god, many of us just slept between the long breaks.
We got a bunch of exclusive pics ourselves, sneakily of course, but nothing near that quality. I’m almost 100% sure that that picture is an unofficially “officially” leaked pic to generate buzz. There is a professional Photographer on set consistently taking shots of every scene, which I assumed is for the DVD but looks like it is also for marketing as well.
As for Chi Chi and Bulma, I can 100% verify that Chi Chi is being played by Jamie Chung and Bulma by Emmy Rossum. I don’t know anything about Jamie but as I saw her chatting with a few extras and even taking some pics while filming with them she seems pretty nice. They are making Emma wear 3-4 inch heels, with a slight deviation from the “official” bumla look also, but I won’t divulge that as of yet. Emmy I know of quite well as I think she is quite a talented singer and actress, however I unfortunately can’t voice for her as far as kindness goes. I don’t feel like going into the “gossipy” details but from what I could see she may be the classical “diva”. I sincerely hope she was just having a bad day...
As for Justin, he seems quiet, jokes on occasion with his stunt double and some of the other stunt guys but is quite focused, he even does a certain “thing” to get himself ready for the scene, I won’t divulge as he will probably want to give that info out someday when asked in an interview or something. He is very polite and kind, at least on the set, takes pictures with crew members when asked and even “bothers” to say goodnight to people he had met earlier when on his way out of the shoot. He is a Canadian boy so it should be no surprise. ^^
I try not to make snap judgements so we will see how the next 4 days of shooting go, as that is all I’m scheduled for at the moment, but I will update you guys if you are interested. More pictures may be leaked, perhaps not. What I am interested in finding out is the names of 2 actors and the person I think may be the Stunt Director, so if you guys can somehow come up with the names I’ll verify when I can match up photo’s.
The first actor I don’t know the name of plays a high school bully, the popular jock I suppose, who is dating Jamie Chung’s character Chi Chi. He is a lighter skinned Black Guy who has a bull head tattoo on his shoulder/arm which could be Texas longhorn or tar heels school significant. It also could simply be it could be a fake drawn on tattoo however. He is roughly the same height as Justin with a similarly small nose, I haven’t stood next to them but I am 5’10 1/2, so Justin being 5’11 as mostly reported is kinda unlikely, he where’s very flat shoes on the shoot as do I and He seems to be about an Inch taller than me, with the “unknown” black actor standing a 1/2” taller than that. I recognize this actor who I am pretty sure hasn’t had many big roles, I can only recall seeing him in one movie, but the movie of course I can’t seem to recall.
The second actor is the female “best friend” of Chi Chi who is played by a Black Girl I don’t recognize. I haven’t paid much attention to her height, but I should have some close ups with them rather soon. I will probably have to do some searching on my own.
The possible stunt coordinator I think I have seen before I will also look for on my own.
Anyway, good luck with all the rumours / gossip. Hope this helped out a bit.
Chow Yun-Fat Boards Dragonball

Chow Yun-Fat will star in 20th Century Fox’s live-action adaptation of Dragonball, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Chow will play Master Roshi. He rounds out a cast that includes Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Emmy Rossum and Jamie Chung.
Dragonball is shooting in Mexico City and Los Angeles.
The film, directed by James Wong, follows Goku (Chatwin), a warrior alien who protects the Earth from an endless stream of rogues bent on dominating the universe and controlling mystical objects known as Dragon Balls. Stephen Chow is producing.
Master Roshi is Goku’s mentor, helping him achieve the highest state of fighting and spiritual powers.
