Like this..
Second, download either Photoshop or Gimp.. I recommend photoshop, it’s hard to use but once you do it’s better.
Finally, either do as I did and just play around with everything or as Firewolf did and look up tutorials. Once again, my recommendation is in looking of tutorials.

Find a simple explanation of the color wheel. Learn what colors work with each other and how they work. Stick with complements at first, which (I think) are colors opposite each other on the wheel. Every time I make a sig, I have a color wheel up too look at. Granted, I’m not too good at it...
Also, look up the rule of thirds. It can aid in making a sig more interesting.
Otherwise, read tutorials on how Photoshop (or whatever program you use) works, and experiment.

is causing chaos. Rep: 26 Joined: 04 Jul 2006 Posts: 8,135 OFFLINE | Just do random shit in PS for half an hour.
If it looks good, put in a picture and/or username, then do random shit for another half-hour.
If it looks good, you just made a sig.
If not, you just wasted an hour. Good job.
