Some of you youngins don’t know how addicting some of those real old games were on Atari and such.

I have alot of those systems, and the worst i own is probably Sega Saturn.

My oldest is an original Atari 1600. Got it from my cousin as a present when i was a kid, and that kicked off my love for gaming about 25+ years ago.

is it just me or was there little to no progression in the graphics power until sony came along?

theres tons of those consoles with 2d graphics and then as soon as sony comes along we have gone from 2d to 3d and soon to be 4d and we have almost photo realistic graphics on some games.

i say sony deserves a big pat on the back

Actually the Sega Saturn was the first console to use 3D. And many considered N64 to have the first real 3D in console gaming. Just giving you the facts haha.

Although there may have been something else to do 3D before Saturn but wasn’t PS1 haha.

Even further 4D is time, so I don’t know about you but I’d rather not watch the clock go up haha.

And photo realism and other realism is impossible, meaning we’ll never achieve it. Even further we’ll never even come close. World is too intricate to achieve it.
