The Lord of The Rings is an epic piece of literature history. Most famous modern writers gained much of their influence from Tolkien’s writings. You can obviously tell that J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, was influenced by Tolkien, just by reading her books.

people said to understand fellowship i have to read the hobbit.People said it was good.But i was highly dissapointed.
in the hobbit they walk,they walk some more,there still walking,they stop to rest then they walk,and they keep on walking.Ive made my point its just dumb.I have no idea how this inspired harry potter or eragon.At least Paolini and rowling acuttally had action without the walking thing.He also leaves out info on purpose!
