Agent of Chaos Rep: 46  Joined: 10 Aug 2005 Posts: 38,432 ONLINE | A huge week in sales. Holiday rises showing. Of course all numbers from VGCharts. As always hardware first. Some are going to be really happy and some a little disappointed. Check it:
NDS- 704,805(+12%) 19,193,811

PSP- 251,689(+17%) 10,815,883
PS3- 192,730(+13%) 3,137,259
Wii- 173,798(-34%) 7,438,188

Now beofre a bunch of fanboys start bitching or making strong statements, Wii was in short supply. And the large shipment of Wiis came on December 16, or last Sunday, where ioi of VGCharts has stated that it sold 600k in that one day in NA.
But yes PS3 and 360 did outsell the Wii this week so bask in whatever glory you can find out of that, as Wii comes with a vengeance in next week’s data. But most importantly DS has huge sales this week showing it’s still a monster that eats 3rd world children, which this forum doesn’t seem to like. Deal with it. 360 showing good numbers and so is the PS2. PSP ain’t doing bad but comparitevely not so great. PS3 could do better.
Now Software. Once again if you detest bundles so much, then ignore Forza 2, Marvel 360, Wii Sports, and Motorstorm:

OH because Wii hasn’t outsold 360 by a high enough rate to take it over yet. For most of the year Wii has outsold 360 at about a 5:3 rate so it’ll take a little longer for it to pass it.
