You didn’t play the game enough if you thought the controls sucked. Cause I beat that game over 10 times, and I know how awesome they were. If I had a camera I’d show you a video of me playing it. How it was meant to be played. COD3 was the first Wii FPS I played that I knew wiimote control crushed anything dual analog could provide.
The aiming was good, but anything involving the numchuck was horrible
A lot of the controls did feel tacked on but still the shooting was almost flawless. Only problem I found was having the reticule go off the screen and camera would go insane.

malvo thats because ur a grafic whore and a complete retard for not customizing the controls
and since when is appreciating higher quality art bad?
Higher quality art pales in comparison to innovative artistic style. That is why Okami is still one of the best graphical achievements in games yet. It makes Crysis look like a wimp. Shinji Mikami is a true game design genius.
I don’t mind less detailed graphics as long as they are stylized correctly. I think Wind Waker and Rayman: Raving Rabids are perfect examples of games who will always look good because of art direction. The claymation look in Rayman worked perfectly

Art direction is the biggest part of graphics. Anyone can go and take another person’s design or style and implement it better. It takes a stroke of genius to do something truly new and innovative.
That’s somewhat taken from an Einstein quote by the way. But yes not every game can have a cel shaded look or realistic look. Graphics have to fit the game really. That’s why I like Halo’s graphics, as it doesn’t go for that super real look. It’s really got its own style that fits its sci fi world.
I think a lot of games had great art direction this year. Halo looks great with the vast amount of color they put in the art. Bioshock had great art design especially with the enemies and guns while also having extreme detail. And Mass Effect put on the film grain and implemented motion blur perfectly to make you feel like you were playing a movie.
Well I liked Halo’s art direction. Bioshock’s was all too similar, and Bioware’s art direction for Mass Effect, while fitting, was kinda surprised they didn’t do a little more with it.
I liked Galaxy’s art direction as well. Along with Zack and Wiki. While Uncharted for PS3 was also very good.
Have you played Bioshock all the way through? The atmosphere of that game is unparalleled. Every place you go to looks different and amazing. The amount of detail they put in every room is just mind boggling.

it’s not always grafics it’s performance
Well really its about how well you fit the atmosphere you’ve created. Like if you created a spongebob game with super real graphics then its going to be terrible. Or like what they did on 360 wiht Naruto. Just didn’t work.
Some games need super real graphics and others don’t. Some need variations of real graphics like Halo. But no game should look exactly the same becuase no game creates, or shouldn’t create, the same atmosphere aside from sequels.

I only played through the first couple of levels. It was fun.

There was one other 360 game that I liked how it looked. Oh yea Crackdown.
Crackdown looked great. The best part about those graphics was the lack of fog. You could see all the way across the city all the time. Going back to GTA feels so weird after that, you’re always like “is this whole city right next to a body of water?"
who cares about the new systems i might get one for christmas but i mean come on what about the people that cantafford a new system??? huh what about them?
