Well I do the other two regions might as well do this one as well. All numbers from VGCharts. As always starting with hardware:

NDS- 257,305(+50%) 20,858,127
Wii- 172,954(+53%) 4,235,635
PSP- 161,212(+76%) 7,376,219
PS3- 52,765(+36%) 1,576,910
PS2- 20,473(+49%) 22,246,779

360- 9,825(+14%) 526,915
GBA- 252(+70%) 16,701,151
NGC- 74(+85%) 4,024,202

NDS, Wii, and PSP all have huge increases. Wii and DS also dominate the market with 64% of all hardware sold this week. If it weren’t for the PSP, would have bene over 80%. PS3 does see increases, yet would have hoped for more with the intro of GT5 Prologue this week. DS is about to go over 21 million and be one step closer from outselling the original playstation, the best selling console ever in Japan. After that its off to catch GB.

Wii has outsold it’s predecessor in Japan and so has 360. PSP despite lackluster software, hardware seems to be selling very well, which shows that brandname is still pretty good for it.

Yeah i know, for holiday sales 360 is selling Like shit.

but for an American product in Japan in it;s 3rd year on the market during the Holidays.
It’s doing Midly decent.

But without these “excuses” 360 sales overall suck there right now.
