There’s a difference in breaking the rules and not being a drone. You can speak out and take risky moves and do your own thing, without breaking the rules. Just breaking the rules for the hell of it, is just stupid. That shows a sign of an attention whore.

AS for getting mod, I’ve had approval before. Actually before Carl, or GR, became mod he origianlly wanted me to be mod. I declined of course, and then told him he should be mod and now he is. But over time I’ve gotten support to be mod, but really it never matters to Bjarne, as he’s told me point blank in a PM, that I can’t put you as mod due to that you are controversial, which is ironic, seeing that most of the mods are controversial. I’ve had the support before. That’s never blocked me. It’s alwasy been the man in the chair himself.

If that’s true, he’s most likely referring back to 2005 with the so called “Zucas Wars”

Seriously, if you want a position, PM each active moderator and ask them for their opinion on you becoming a moderator. After that, send a PM to Bjarne linking to EVERY pm reply from the mods, even the ones that said no. (just put the ones who said yes at the top)

And tell him that most of the mods (I’m sure most would say yes, I can almost guarantee you’d have the support of SA-X, GR, Toltalitus, Tyreaus, and Myself) Dante and Firewolf might say yes, Green_Ninja is likely to say she doesn’t know you well enough, Etain.. She hasn’t been around in a while..

Give it a show if you’re sincere about becoming a moderator. If Bjarne still says no, politely ask him for a reason. If he says there are enough moderators now, try back after we lose another one. If he says otherwise, then meh.

Wait, thats what you do? You PM the mods, they decide if the person is worthy, and they give the result to Bjarne and makes the decision?

I always thought of it as the mods and Bjarne secretly watch the members, and pick the worthy from the crowd.

Cid- sounds like your asking me to do the begging, when it should have been the other way around with Bjarne. Oh well. I’ll see what I can do. Not that it really matters. This site isn’t as flourishing and corrupt as it used to be anymore. My situation may not even be needed.

That’s why I put you under mite. But you’re really only a mod for two reasons anyway..
1) To fend off night spam attacks.. Which is a bit useless now that Becky has got me used to staying up all night. (lol)
2) to update the members rep.. Because I keep fecking forgetting. >_< (thanks for that btw)

Bjarne doesn’t do much in the election process. If the moderators think somebody would make a good mod.. One of us contacts Bjarne and asks for them to be modded. Or, the better way would be collecting opinions from other mods and then emailing all the opinions to Bjarne.



Really.. There’s no need for you to be a moderator, so nobody will beg Bjarne to mod you. The only way you’ll get the position will be through your own journey. (I use journey because journeys are epic)

Bjarne needed me more on the expansion and growth of this site. I think I would have at least gotten some damn respect from that. Of course he shuns his most important members for some odd reason.
