if the government could control it and earn profit off it then of course they will legalize it how much of a profit do they make off cigarettes. They dont give a shit unless they are making money off of it

indeed it is. Tobacco is alot worse than pot as well. So I really do not see why it should remain illegal even after years of research.

Look at yourselves. Deciding between the worst of 2 evils. Hitler was worse than Hussein, but does that mean because he’s not as bad, that he’s ok. I mean come on. They are both bad, and both realy should be gone. It’s just the only reason alcohol is allowed is one tradition, 2 it’s illegality was tried before and made it worse, and 3 drinking a little of it or in a good amount has no harm.

Pot on the other hand is nothing like that and the only purpose it can be used for is to kill ya earlier. Make your decision between Hitler and Hussein, but I personally pick neither.

Hmmm... actually alcohol will kill ya before pot does buddy. And do some research it has a lot more potential than just to “kill ya”. There has never been a death directly related to pot. Ya, people have gotten in wrecks while high and died. But pot has never killed anyone.

The only reason its illegal is because of $$$$

Rich people wanna stay rich, and will go to any lengths to keep pot illegal.

Most likely it will not be legalized because they are making enough money catching people with it as it is. Much more than what will be made if they were selling it to people.

whats the point in making pot illegal? I mean, number 1, a lot of people don’t follow the law in the first place, number 2, it seems that smoking cigarettes could be worse than pot... so really if anything, the laws should be switched around. The government really shouldn’t have a say in what people smoke, drink, etc. It should be their problem if something happens and the government shouldn’t have to step in.

I vote for decriminalized not legal.

And by the way, people that are terrified of pot and seem to think it’s this great evil...there are things you consume everyday that are probably a lot worse for you. Believe me, cheap fast food is going to kill you before pot will. Just a comment.

(and no, I’m not saying there are no negative effects to pot, I’m saying that pot has a disproportionaly negative image as compared to other things)

The worst thing that can happen to a dude on pot is man tits. Most people will eventually, or already have em, so thats really not to big of a deal. Plus decreased sex drive....

Oh come the fuck on. Hussein was completely trumped up; there have been and are people worse than him still running along freely. In fact, most of these people are running powerful countries... wink

Those years of research have shown that pot can permanently damage your brain.

POT SHOULD BE LEGALIZED BECAUSE IT SO BENEFICIAL, ALTHOUGH IT CAN BE HARMFUL WITH OVERCONSUMPTION LIKE ANYTHING ELSE. REAL RAP, THE ONLY REASON WHY WEED WON’T BE LEGALIZED IS BECAUSE ITS MORE PROFITABLE AND BENEFICIAL TO WHITES AS A WHOLE AND ELITIST TO KEEP IT ILLEGAL THAN IT IS TO MAKE IT LEGALIZED. CLEARLY CIGARETTES DOES WAY MORE DAMAGE TO INDIVIDUALS WHO SMOKE CIGS AND THOSE WHO THEY HANG AROUND THAN WEED DOES. SO, WHY SHOULDN’T IT BE LEGALIZED UNLESS YOU ARE ONE OF THE PEOPLE PROFITING FROM IT BEING ILLEGAL? THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT WEED IS IT WREAKS AFTER THE BUZZ ENDS CUZ IT THATS WHEN REALITY SETS IN.

all your medical and health crap is bs. pot should be legalized for financial purposes. i’d tax the hell out of it. and use the gains to subsidise medical care. i don’t smoke it, but i know of it’s potential. it also gives tabacco farmers somthing to farm.
