Netherland isn’t much of legalization of Drug. They actually restrict drug to other civilians. They just want to destroy drug market. I think U.S government really needs to adopt Netherland government’s drug policy. There seem to be sign of it though like suggestion of legalization of Marijuana at Congress.

The shit about it being a gateway drug is fake... morphine is far more likely to be the cause. People say that marijuana hasn’t been studied. WELL DUH! It’s nearly impossible to get a license to study it, it’s illegal! So definitely for medical purposes marijuana should be legalized, and I don’t know about everyday use.

I think a lot of the attraction to it comes from the fact that it’s illegal. If it was made legal, I think people would just go for even worse things.

Now this I completely agree with. The only reason people even look at it that way is because it’s illegal. But it’s actually incredibly harmless and aside from what the smoke does to your lungs and the slowing of your blood flow, is better for you than booze, because it mellows you out and makes you not want to do anything and just chill and have fun and doesn’t really have any long term effects other than memory loss if the drug is constantly abused. Marijuana isn’t really even addictive from what I understand because it doesn’t contain any nicotine or any considerable amounts of addictive substances. In fact if people would smoke this and cigars instead of cigarrettes I think we’d see a marked decrease in the amount of smoking related deaths.
I don’t do it because I don’t like smoking and how it makes you and your cloths smell, but if I did I would smoke this before I went and bought a pack of “legal” cigarettes.

Have you researched the drug? Your more likely to die from alcohol abuse or heart failure/stroke/cancer from smoking cigarettes than from smoking pot, because it has 0 addictive qualities and is only smoked when the user wants to feel good and mellow out, not because they feel it’s a need. And if having people who smoke on the streets becomes a problem jus, make it illegal to do it outside your own residence like drinkin' problem solved.
