Is it really true an Xbox is going to get a red ring in less then a year? And if so is it possible to fix it? Oh and another dull newb question. How do you customize your armor in Halo (new at it)? ---

The only way to fix it is either the towel trick, modding, or sending it too MS/retailer.
And to customize your armor, when at the main menu, hit Start, hit right, it should give you the option below.

I think the new ones are made much better, especially elites. they improved the cooling which was the biggest problem. the thing is it seems like everyone red rings only because they are the only ones bitching about it. when you go on message boards your not going to see, “my xbox turned on today!" instead you only see the negative “my xbox fucking red ringed today!".
That being said, red ringing is still a big problem and it might happen to you. Don’t worry it’s not the worst thing in the world, mine was only gone for a week and a half.
I think you can go that long without an xbox...hopefully | |

Man if mine RRODed I’d be pissed and want everyone else to feel as shitty as me haha.
But most of them are Sony fans who bought it for no apparent reason, and then want to find reasons to complain about it.
Have you ever noticed people that are consistent fanboys of one system that buy another one, always seem to find problems with their console or something about it and bitch incessantly about it. Example, P. Moore haha.
