well then again... Death note is also in the Jump catagory, and you know as well as I that for all the human or sub human characters of DC and Marvel its all over. and Shaman King aswell, they can bring any dead thing back as a fighting tool.

Basically like how Ryuk followed Light around because he was bored Joker could probably convince Ryuk and the other shinigamis to follow him.
