In a side note, Orange Box, Rock Band, World in Conflict and God of War 2 don’t desserve to be on the top 10.
this post is wrong in every sense of the word.
Orange Box has Half Life 2 episode 2 and Portal, two fucking amazing games.
Rock Band took Guitar Hero and made it into the ultimate, and I mean ULTIMATE party game and band simulation experience.
Never played world inf conflict.
God of War II is the epitome of all things a game should be. A combination of tough manly and awesome gore and combos and killing, with brain-straining puzzle solving and intense boss fights. Not to mention it’s fucking hard. Anyone who thinks God of War II isn’t deserving of at least the top 10 hates happiness.

Exactly, its NO NEW GAME. Orange Box is two great games out into a disk. NOTHING NEW. Its as if Nintendo came out and put the Zelda Series into a Disk then it suddenly was a good game.
Rock Band is great, sure, the Ultimate Party game? wdf is that supposed to mean? not everyone likes music games, first of, secondly the game play is null, it relies solely on already existing songs, and tapping made up notes on the controller.
God of War 2 is just another good game. It’s game play is good and so are its graphics. But thats it.
This is my opinion so don’t bother debating it with me.

Portal, Half Life 2: Ep 2, and TF2, I believe are all only available in the Orange Box.
well since everyone else who posted here pretty much hates RTS’s of course tehy wouldn’t think World in COnflict should be in the top ten.
But for someone who actually likes RTS’s then i’d have to say World in Conflict was one of the best games of this year. It actually added a whole new way to play RTS’s. Instead of controlling an entire army you control a sectio, such as armor or infantry or air, and you must work together to defeat your opponite.
So yes WIC was prbly one of the best games this year...but i have a feeling none of u will agree since most of u here hate RTS’s...
P.S. i finally played the demo and it is a F***** amazing game.
