My favorite animal is the Lion but a great white shark is something that will frighten anyone at first sight.

lions are hopeless. In the wild, the males just sleep, eat and mate. its the LIONESSES that are the killers.

Also on the area of sharks, you haven’t specified and that makes deciding a definitive victor extremely difficult.

Not all sharks are deadly killers, take the gummy shark, the wobbigong and the whale shark. None of these would be capable of taking down anything larger than a fish and even then, its not necessarily their prey of choice.

The demographic of sharks is like saying dogs. Are you afraid of the pug, or the corgi..or do you refer to the German Sheppard or Doberman or Rotwiler?

You haven’t drawn specification.

I would still say sharks only due to our beloved Great White Shark for they are the tiger of the sea.

Since the dark ages, the lion was associated with royalty and majesty due to their regal habits of just lazing around and having the food brought to him. he was the ultimate lazy animal. he would get the chicks, have them bring him food and do whatever the hell he wanted. he would have a whole heard of lionesses under his command, much like a king over his royal subjects.

that is where the association of king came from.

in reality, the tiger is the king of th jungle, being a far more formidable predatory animal who unlike many big cats is unafraid of water and is double the lions size.
