I already got it done, I have Xbox live now. I just started basic training in Halo 3 and I am only an apprentance but I can start taking friend requests now.
Heh does not change the fact that I still like the wi-fi connection for games like Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart DS, Medal of Honor Heros 2, and Pokemon D/P.
I like the WFC for it being free and the nice varity of games. I like Xbox live for excellent service and Nice features like Voice chat and Downloadable extras.
Sadly right now, out of all the games for Xbox live out there, only ones that will seem to keep me glued are Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 when I get it. Gears of War did not really impress me much so I would not really play it. Maybe I will play Marvel Ultimate Allaince online. As for many others like C@C3 Tiberium Wars, I am not a big fan of RTS games. BW2 kept me glued for a while since you take control of the actual units but it has gotten a little old. Metroid Prime Hunters has kept me playing ever since it launched and I have played Pokemon and Mario Kart inbetween those times. Star Fox Command was fun online but I already achieved a high rank in it. Medal of Honor Heros 2 was my first ever online console shooter and it was great. Out of the online games I had before Halo 3, Metroid Prime Hunters was fun since it was on a portable to be played anywhere and it was a unqiue experience. MOHH2 was nice because I loved the use of no FCs and Control was excellent.
Out of the times I have played Halo before, I only had Halo 1 on the PC but I was not that good at it because others always cheated or resorted to the pistol. I turned to MPH since it was a game I could easily settle into. I may be occupied with Halo 3 for online for a while but I am still a huge Metroid Fan and I will always like MPH, it kept me entertained for a long time, still will whenever I take a break from Halo 3. I will take breaks every once in a while like to play SMG more, finish up Zelda PH, play other games like MOHH2 or MPH, just play SSBM with friends. Heck when SSBB comes out in a few weeks, I am going to be on it so much, I may be sad to leave Halo 3 and MPH behind for a while, I have always liked Nintendo’s multiplayer games and umong them, this one going online will be enough to put me on life support.
