ok so since 07 is done and over with...what is everyones’s favorite albums and songs that came out this past year???
here is my list top 10 albums of the year

1.By the People, For the People by MuDvAyNe

2.Hellyeah by Hellyeah...by far the biggest suprise of the year...i knew it would be a knock out album but wow...best new band of the year too in my opinon \m/

3.Famous by Puddle of Mudd (was totally worth the 4 year wait!!!)

4.Into Existence by Rides Again (a killer new Canadian band that has a sound like a mix between Foo Fighters and Switchfoot...rad band
that everyone should atleast give a try.)

5.Sworn to a Great Divide by Soilwork

6.I-Empire by Angels & Airwaves (great album even better than their 1st one)

7.Untitled b KoRn (hey i know most people didnt like this one..but the more i listened to it the more it grew on me...it has some great songs on it)

8.The Roundhouse Tapes by Opeth (okay i know its a live album but god damn its the best live album i heard in a long time!)

9.Alpha by Sevendust (i know it’s not their greatest work but i thought it was a sick album and well i just love 7dust!)

10.Vengeance by Nonpoint

*also i have to put down my biggest disappointment of 2007*

MOST DISPPOINTING ALBUM - Minutes to Midnight by Linkin Park (5 yrs, 100 songs written,WHAT happened?! out of the 12 songs that made it on M2M there was only 2 good ones and 1 amazing song the rest sucked and was not linkin park at all..shame on them...really and like double shame on them for that bull shit of a tour they had this summer with MCR and all the other punk/emo bands...LP you changed this year and it was not for the good)

Fear of a Blank Planet and the Nil Recurring EP (taken as one) by Porcupine Tree was easily the best release this year.

Edit: Actually, thinking about it, there were quite a few good releases this year.

Same here.. Actually, M2M was my favorite album of the year and my favorite song on the album was apparently DVDA’s least favorite song. Hands Held High. lol
