A role-playing game (RPG) is a game in which the participants assume the roles of fictional characters and collaboratively create or follow stories. Participants determine the actions of their characters based on their characterization, and the actions succeed or fail according to a formal system of rules and guidelines. Within the rules, players can improvise freely; their choices shape the direction and outcome of the games.

Rules :

1) No god-moding. If you’re dead, you’re dead. No god-modding either.
2) No teleportation. You can’t be in the town centre one moment and in the guild in the next.
3) You can control some minor NPC’s, but not players. You are allowed to write Ryu stabbed John, as long as “John” isn’t a player.

Tips :
If you’re in a group, stay in a group. If the group splits up for no apparent reason, it’ll be harder for others to catch up on where they are.

1601 B.C, Osaka, Japan.

The feudal age is one of rivalling clans and epic dynasties. Great temples and even greater cities, only one stood out among the rest.

Osaka. It should be a city of shining glory, as it’s emperor had decreed. HE had ordered for the bulding of new roads and diplomatic centres. But everything took a turn for the worse, when the emperor was, for lack of a better word, assassinated. The young prince, the heir to the throne Without a leader, the ministers and the politic order delved into chaos.


Eventually, the city fell into ruin, and now, thieves, beggars, and rouges roam the streets, scrounging off whatever they can find. With so many vagabonds around, you cannot even cross the street without being either stabbed or robbed at least twice. They are the streetworthy, wise ones, the ones who get by with only what they can.


And then, the pale light of the moon reveals an even darker side to the city. Backstabbers. Murderers. Shinobi. Ninja. These are the assassins. They kill for money, with their services going to the highest bidder. They are cold-blooded hitmen, acting alone and single-mindedly.

And yet, through all the chaos, some work to restore peace to the city. They do what ever they can to stop the city from becoming a wasteland of crime and corruption. But sometimes, even they need the aid of someone, with special… skills. Shinobi. Ninja. The assassins. They will undoubtedly achieve their assignments.

Character sheet :

Name : Your character’s name. Try to keep it Japanese, it is Japan, after all.
Age : Character’s age. (at least 14)
Appearance : What does your character look like? What are they wearing? Things like that. Make it as detailed as you like.
Weaponry: What weapons are you character carrying? Try to stick to less than 3 weapons, and only use weapons from 17th century Japan (that means no shotguns allowed).
History: You may choose to create a history, but don’t expect me to remember it.

Appearance: short, muscular, average weight... and he wears either all black or all white... also is bald and has scar going from the top of the right eye down to the bottom of the right side of his chin... and he always has the smell of sake in his breath

Weapons: big ass ax, big ass katana in his belt, and he knows aikido and judo

Magic: knows mainly fire magic, but dwells into minor healing as well...

Apperance: Tall, semi muscular, long silver hair, pointy ears, wears a keaton mask 24/7().

Clothing Style:
Light colored vest, baggy pants, Basketball style shoes.

Class: high class assassin

Race: Half Elf

Weapon: Twin Sword(one fore hand(left) and one back hand(right)), long katana and Sythe on back, 2 hidden daggers.

Hand to Hand Style: Quick jabs in pressure points for quick effective hits.

Abbility: Think Magic - Natural use of Dark and Ice Magic w/o use of scrolls, staffs or spell chants.

abbility 2: quick feet - able to run and jump silently at extreme speeds for steathy jobs.

History: originaly from a larger unknown island to the north, Elk got abandoned on the northern most section of japan when he was but a baby. a clan of brutal ninja found him around an Elk home, and for that reason called him Elk. with him was a mask of a Keaton, so Elk never let go of it. By the time Elk was 8 he had surpassed even the most powerful Ninja in the clan. knowing this the Leader, thinking him a future threat, ordered him to be assassinated. Elk killed every assassin the clan leader sent at him, so he ordered the remaining ninja to kill him. but as before, Elk killed every last one of them, and took the 4 strongest ninjas' weapons. the leader of the ninja then bannished Elk from the village. by the time he was 10, Elk had faced many assassins with ears just as pointy and hair just as white as his. after about the 5th assassination attempt from one of these mysterious beings, he kept one alive, and asked why they were trying to kill him. his reply was, “because you were a mistake."
“how so?" the young assassin asked.
the mysterious assassin replyed, “you were supposed to die on that frozen area we left you on."
“Why” the white haired boy asked, “how do you know where i was abandoned?"

“your father told us... we tortured him until he gave us the information we needed... he thought that telling us would free him from the penelty he faced with the illeagal act he preformed... thats exactly what we wanted him to think... once we got our info, we killed him the most painful way we knew how... you see, you are but a half elf... it is wrong for an elf and a human to have a child with eachother... I spit on your kind. the angrey elf spat on his mask.
Elk angrily grabbed the elf by his throat. “youll tell me everything you know... then i might just let you go..."
the elf had no choice but to tell him the story...

about a month later Elk new everything... where the island was... what most of them looked like... and most importantly how many of them there were... but thats not where he stopped with the assassin... he had him teach him the magic skills he needed... then, just as they did with his father, once he got all the info he needed, he killed the elf in the most painful way possible...

a countless number of elfs have attacked him in the time he has lived.
now he is 16 and part of a guild, missions come for him alone all the time, but most of the missions request any of the assassins in the guild.
Not many know his name, but his reputation is known throughout japan, his mask feared by all...
he has returned to the village which exiled him, to seek revenge on the man who banashed him as a kid... nobody knows who he is, since the mask is covering his face all the time...

Appearance: Has light skin. Wears a black full helmet on head with little demon-wing things on the sides and one of those Spartan broom-like things on top. Wears black pirate coat and jacket, complete with gold trim and lace at the sleeves. Wears a white scarf around neck, concealing even more of the face, leaving on the eyes visible. Wears black pants with Jack-o-lantern designs on the shins, and black size 12 wide shoes.

Alignment: Despite this character’s dark appearance, he is good, chaotic, and honorable.

Elemental Mastery: Primary = Wind, Secondary = Darkness, Tertiary = Fire

Personality: This character is friendly, fun loving, and optimistic, despite his dark appearance. He loves a challenge and loves to battle.

Weapons: Wields a dark katana and claymore.

Fighting Style: Impromptu

Affinities: Has great marksmanship, good strength, good magic, and very high wisdom and knowledge.

Weaknesses: Not good at prolonged fights, as he gets tired fairly easily. Also is only a beginner at healing, so it takes longer to heal himself with magic, so the damage stacks up greatly in a prolonged battle without a chance to heal.

History: Tementeye was created in The Underworld from the fusing of two souls of great warriors by Hades, created to defeat Hercules. One of the souls was that of a Human, and the other was from a Gulgan, thus creating a new soul that would be half of both, granting it abilities from each. Although his plan backfired because Tementeye was created from warriors who had once been good in their prime, so he turned out to be good, and would never follow Hades' orders. He escaped from The Underworld and became a fighter in the Olympus Coliseum. He once challenged Hercules, but was quickly defeated. In his time at the Coliseum, he learned many skills and magics. He left to Coliseum to become stronger, and to one day be able to defeat Hades himself.

Restrictions on characters please?

Obviously it seems like you’re restricted to using human characters.. But what about job classes? Seems like we have to be assassins, is that true? Or can you be a rouge character who isn’t good or bad. Can we play either side of the RP? Can we have a samurai character? Are you getting into myth with the ninja? Meaning can they use magic, disappear, walk on water, ect? Or is this strictly realistic?

Usually, if restrictions aren’t listed, then they don’t exist, at least with the RP’s I’ve been in. =/
Plus he even says within the rules players may improvise freely, so...

Yes, other job classes are acceptable, just make sure it’s somewhere around the 17th century. Magic characters are fine, just don’t go overboard with it.

My character will sit in a corner and get drunk all the time. He’s a misteriou guy, and he holds secrets. Will I end up dying cause someone will stab him or something in my drunk state? That would suck.
